Trial & refunds

We give you 150 nights to test out our firm mattress totally risk-free. This means that if you are unsatisfied with your mattress, you can return it for a full refund. All returned mattresses are donated to our charity partner the Salvos to help those in need or sent to a mattress recycler.
We always recommend trying the mattress for at least 14 nights before sending it back to us. Some mattresses take some getting used to, especially super firm ones like ours!

Please note the trial is limited to one return per household, delivery address or order. If you need to purchase multiple mattresses, we recommend buying one first to make sure you are happy then placing another order.

Once your return request is sent to us, we will then arrange for it to be collected by Salvos free of charge, and once the collection is completed, we will give you a full refund.

Return is free in all Metro location (Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Hobart & Perth). If you live in a regional, rural or an area outside of Salvos network we will ask you for assistance in donating/dropping off the mattress directly to your closest charity or mattress recycler and email us proof of donation/drop off and we will give you a full refund.

As our returned mattresses are sent to charities to live a new life, they must be in as-new condition with no damage, stains, marks or rips. We highly recommend using a mattress protector to ensure this, should you wish to return it.

Please Note: All returned mattresses must be enclosed in the original plastic bag provided at the time of sale. This is a strict requirement, as our freight companies will not collect or transport mattresses that are not securely sealed in this protective covering. The plastic bag ensures the mattress is kept hygienic, damage-free, and easy to handle during the return process. Customers are responsible for ensuring their mattress is properly repacked before pickup can be arranged.

Delivery

Delivery is free to eligible metro and inner regional areas, provided your location is serviced by our delivery partners.

Once you've ordered your mattress, we need 3 business days to manufacture and dispatch it. Our Australian-made mattresses are dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse, and will be delivered to you based on the average* delivery times below:

Melbourne Metro 3 business days

Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide & Canberra Metro within 14 business days

All other areas within 21 business days.

*We hope you'll understand that the lead time may be longer depending on your specific location and the courier used.

ADDITIONAL DELIVERY OPTION – MELBOURNE METRO ONLY

Premium Delivery – $89: If you wish to have your goods taken inside and set up in the room for you, you will need to select the Premium Delivery Service. Please note that the room must be empty and ready for setup, as our service does not include removing or disposing of the old mattress and base.

If you order our SLEEP FIRM Mattress before 2pm AEDT and live in selected Melbourne suburbs, you will receive it next business day*!

Sleep Firm is Australian made mattress and is shipped from our Melbourne warehouse.

In response to increasing fuel costs across the market, we have adjusted our delivery pricing to ensure we can continue servicing the areas most impacted.

The metro/regional classifications are determined by our delivery partners, and not something we set internally.

PREMIUM DELIVERY OPTION – MELBOURNE METRO ONLY

Premium Delivery – $89: If you wish to have your goods taken inside and set up in the room for you, you will need to select the Premium Delivery Service. Please note that the room must be empty and ready for setup, as our service does not include removing or disposing of the old mattress and base.

We do not offer old mattress removal service.

Mattress

The Sleep Firm mattress comes with opening instructions. You simply open the blue outer wrapper with scissors without puncturing the inner vacuum bag. The mattress then unfurls on its own. The mattress can take up to 72 hours to return back to the shape it was in the factory.

The Sleep Firm mattress is manufactured in Melbourne, by Chiropedic who have decades of experience in making and selling over 100,000 mattresses around Australia.

We recommend rotating your mattress twice in the first month after purchase and then once per month throughout the warranty period.

For single-sided mattresses, spin 180 degrees (head to toe). For double-sided mattresses (where the sleep surface is identical on the top and bottom), flip over and spin 180 degrees.

Our mattresses are designed with durable foams and strong support systems to handle everyday use. As a general guide, here are the recommended maximum weight limits by size:

Single: up to 120 kg
King Single: up to 150 kg
Double: up to 200 – 250 kg combined
Queen: up to 250 – 300 kg combined
King: up to 250 – 300 kg combined

These limits ensure your mattress maintains its comfort, support, and long-term durability.
